Best Place to Visit in Agra

🚆 How to Reach Agra from Delhi

Agra is about 230 km (143 miles) from Delhi and can be reached by road, train, or air.

1. By Train (Fastest & Most Convenient)

  • Gatimaan Express – India’s fastest train. Takes about 1 hour 40 minutes.

  • Shatabdi Express – Around 2 hours.

  • Departure: Hazrat Nizamuddin Station (NZM) or New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS)

  • Arrival: Agra Cantt Station (AGC)

2. By Car / Taxi

  • Via Yamuna Expressway (a smooth 6-lane highway).

  • Travel Time: 3 to 4 hours

  • You can book a taxi via services like Ola Outstation, Uber Intercity, or private cab operators.

3. By Bus

  • UPSRTC and private AC buses run from Delhi to Agra.

  • Duration: 4-5 hours

  • Departure: Anand Vihar ISBT or Sarai Kale Khan

4. By Air (Not Recommended)

  • Agra has a small airport, but very limited commercial flights.

  • Travel time is not efficient compared to trains or road travel.



🕌 Getting to the Taj Mahal Luxury Tour

  • From Agra Cantt Railway Station:
    Take a prepaid auto-rickshaw, cab, or e-rickshaw. It’s about 6 km from the station to the Taj Mahal.

  • Local taxis, Ola/Uber, or cycle rickshaws are also available.
